Fitness has always been a huge part of my life. As a mother of a beautiful little girl, my world is constantly on-the-go. No matter how crazy life gets, staying active allows me to get much needed "me time"—so important—to blow off steam and reduce stress.
From a young age, I have always loved staying active—exploring new places and being outside. That passion continued as I went on to earn my Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science and a Master's Degree in Orthotics & Prosthetics from Eastern Michigan University. In 2011, after becoming an NPTI Certified Personal Trainer and AFAA Certified Group Fitness Instructor, I opened It's Fitness Time, a personal training company, Ann Arbor, MI. Then after making the move to Dayton, Ohio, I started Fitness Time Dayton, 1-on-1 personal training and small group fitness boot camps, in 2018.
Fitness and my passion for sharing it with others have always come easy to me. However, like most living in this diet-focused world—with new fad diets popping up every 2 minutes— I struggled with nutrition. And as we all know, “you can’t outrun bad nutrition.” Therefore, I decided it was time to take a dive deep into the world of nutrition and become a Precision Nutrition Level-1 ProCoach.
My new-found knowledge impacted my own life for the better. I quickly realized that I could utilize that same insight to further empower others around me—leading to the evolution of Fitness Time Dayton into Holden Health.
I now provide those who are ready and willing to make a change the tools and guidance they need to live a healthy, balanced life. By making small, impactful changes, developing healthy habits, and creating a sustainable relationship with food and fitness, my clients are improving their overall wellness and quality of life.
